Blog 11: The Yes Men Fix the World!!

In the documentary, The Yes Men Fix the World are about two men named Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno who critique about the deception of company goals. They use media to expose these companies in order for the public to notice what is really going on through closed doors. When people think, "Oh this company is actually doing something for the common good" most companies mislead them and take the quicker route in establishing dangerous constructions at places that have 'bad' governments and is cheap to build the building. What the Yes Men do is to expose this greed and power for money to the public and try to reach their goal of protecting people's rights and safety. There were a few pranks lead to astonishing feedbacks from companies.
All of these pranks leads to idealism or ideology on how it is so common, people do not notice it. What the Yes Men do is to try to present the reality in most companies' projects to give them a sense of what they are doing is bad. However, it gave the opposite affect when companies gave them their company card.

By believing that their companies help or provide the common uses for "their" people/ consumers/ society, they do no realize the dangers that may be caused to others in the process of building and establishing that building. This is what society needs to be aware of in order stop these acts and to help other people.
